JUST GOT OFF OF REMINGTONS WED SITE, THEY ONLY LIST A 250 GRN BULLET IN THE 338. AT 500YRDS IN ONLY DROPS LESS THAN 4 INCHES FROM THE 300. I WOULD SAY THAT A BULLET IN THE 220 GRN RANGE WOULD PROBABLY OUT PERFORM THE 180 300 ULTRA MAG HANDS DOWN. AT LONG RANGES.  YOU MIGHT WANT TO LOOK INTON THAT.  AND IF YOU WANT REALLY SPEED BY A  LAZZERONI
