Savage vs.Stevens

Beside price and accu-trigger availability, what is the differance between Savage rifles and their Stevens rifles?

The Savages have a better quality stock. I would get the Stevens, have the trigger worked on by a competent gunsmith and purchase a Bell and Carlson stock for it.
