Barrel Bands

I was thinking about putting this Buffalo Classic stock set on my Handirifle.  How good are the front barrel bands sold by Uncle Mike's?  Do they stay in place?  Are there better front sling mount barrel band options?

I have three of the Uncle Mike's units on Handi's.  Work great, but they only fit the smaller OD barrels.  Don't quite go around the larger barrels, unless they have a number that I don't know about.  The best thing on the shorter barrels is that you can put the band very near the end of the barrel, sling it over your back, and you don't have that 14 inches of barrel stuck higher than your head to snag ever tree limb that you walk close to.  I don't think using the sling under tension for shooting stability would help your groups any, but for carrying, it can't be beat.  Mine have stayed tight for 3 years now, so that isn't a problem.  I prefer the ones on the end of the barrel to the ones on the forearm.  Enjoy!
