Express sight question
« on: October 18, 2006, 05:24:20 PM »
I have Express sights on my FA .475, which I like for hunting, BUT I am having trouble seeing the rear sight notch. I know my gun wants to shoot but these hunting sights with the hard to see rear sight won't let me squeeze the most accuracy from it.
I wonder if anyone else has experienced this and what if anything they did about it.
I'm thinking of painting the rear blade white, but hate to desecrate it.

Find a cute secretary and ask to borrow her bottle of White Out correction fluid.  This stuff works great to try out a white blar or even a white line.  The new bottles from BIC even have a very fine point sponge for the applicator and it is real easy to do a nice line.  Best part is the stuff cleans off easy if you do not like the white line or blade.

Thanks SJ. That sounds like a good idea. I did recently saw this really cute blonde using that stuff to white out words on her PC. I don't think it worked so maybe she'll give me her bottle. ;D
