which 460 for deer hunting?

i might possibly be buying a 460 for deer hunting if i decided to sell a model 66 i have.....my question is..which one..the standard or the hunter?   money is a little tight so if the hunter won;t benefit me a whole bunch for my purposes i would like to go with the cheaper one...but you guys give me your advice..heres what i want it for....

i will reload for it
i want to extend the range of my deer hunting since this is a shotgun only zone
occasional target shoot and fun shooting

Get the standard version 8 3/8 inch barrel. Right now some of the 460 PC models are being recalled due to a barrel problem. Myself, I have found the 460 to be an outstanding round.
If  you're going to make a hole, make it a big one.

Depending on where you live, barrel length may be a consideration. I live in Maryland, and they require a 6" barrel, 700 ft. lbs minimum energy, and .357 Mag minimum caliber. In .460 anything over 6" would work. Your state is probably different.
