Morning fog hurt our efforts this morning on second day of goose season. Saw a few birds and heard plenty of birds through the fog but they never could see our decoy spread. Had a few small flocks get close but not close enough.
One small flock did get close enough after the fog burned off, only took one bird. I'll chalk that up to early season jitters. I was way pumped when those birds committed. Just need to settle down a bit when they do come in to the spread. Thinking back, they never really committed, just got low enough for a good look-see and were ready to head out when I decided to shoot. If I had been a bit more focused more birds would have been taken.
Back out tomorrow mornig to try again.
Good luck to all.

PS. good shooting Catfish, go get'em again tomorrow.
