What rifle are you using this year..

  I have rifles in .44 mag, 30/30 and a couple of .223s...I will probably use all/or  any of them depending on how the mood strikes..

   What do you plan on using ?

Let see: my first choice will be my 50 cal. flinter then my 50 cal inline and last would be my 30-06 all depends on the weather and how I feel

For deer hunting I'll use my Marlin 336CS 35 Rem. for most of my hunting. If I hunt where it's a little more open I'll use either my Winchester model 88 308 Win. or my Remington model 700 Classic 280 rem.! The 280 Rem. might get the nod more often then the 308 this year. I want to replace the scope on the 308. That probably isn't going to happen the year..........especially with lay offs coming. Well then again when they have lay off's they make the rest of us work 6 and 7 days a week (makes a whole lot of sense doesn't it :'() so maybe it will!

For coyotes I'll use my Remington model 700 BDL 223 Rem. I'm probably going to put a new Leupold VX-II 6-18x40mm scope this year. I'll also use my RRA AR-15 for the close range stuff, but the Remington is going to be my go to gun for sure!

i can choose my 243 or my 7-08 or my 25-06 but my rem 700 7mm mag is like my american express i can never leave home with out it. its just one of thoes rifles that just never fails you. its my go to rifle that seems to be the only one that sees any action after our familys sighting in weekend. then my encore .50 cal. will be enjoying the ml season.

Encore in .308 Win. opening day. If I get lucky enough to land a doe permit I may switch to a 209x50  m/l barrel.

  Where I hunt all i need right now is my Encore 12ga with lightfield 2 3/4in sabots even in the northern zone - the knockdown power is awsome... :o

Encore 209x50 for early muzzleloader

Marlin .450 Guide gun in early season

Reminton 700 BDL in .270 and Savage 300 WSM for when the woods open up a little

Many more on the rack, but I trust these the most.

My new BAR carbine .308, followed by my Rem 760/'06 and 760/.300 Sav. Then somewhere I have to fit in my Marlin 336/.35 rem using the new Hornady LeveRevolution ammo.

A week in Maine, followed by the regular season in NY should give me enough opportunity to use each...unless I'm real lucky early on.

It will vary between my Winchester Model 70 in 270 and my 7-08 I also plan to use my NEF sidekick a lot too and hope to do more harvesting with it.

I'll be using my H&R 7-08 rifle or my 12GA Ultra Slugger...It depends on where I am hunting and how the landowner feels about rifles on his property...Of course I will have my 44mag with my as well.

It's a toss up, I have the Mauser 98 my grandfather built, chambered in .270 WIN. or the new Stevens 200 in .308 I just got.

I'll be using my Rem 260 custom made by my brother-in-law for my 40th b-day.  It's a mauser action and it's sweet!

If it's nasty out I'll use my trusty Ithaca 12 ga. with Federal slugs. Non better!
