Which model of Winchester is this?
« on: May 22, 2006, 01:57:58 AM »
A friend of mine has a Winchester lever gun in .22lr that is hammerless and was passed down to him by his father.
It has a 16 round magazine and he believes it was probably built during the 70s, although he may be wrong.
Any hints on which model it may be?

A tubular-fed lever-action winchester made in the 1970's would be the model 190 if it has an aluminum receiver.  If it has a steel receiver and looks like the model 1894 it would be the 9422.
