Finish on Medallion

The finish on my new Medallion seems to dent and scratch easily. Are all Medallions like this? The finish is not as hard as on any of my other rifles. Doesn't seem to be very durable.

Mine is the same way, its very glossy and seems to smudge, i have a few nics in mine but not to bad.
