chuming for crappie

Has anyone chum for crappie. If so what was your mix. I hear some use cat food and groundup fish. What was your results? Thanks Twyman

Try this-- catch two or three crappie and scale them real good and save the scales and put them in a quart jar.  Fill the jar with water and shake well and pour about 1/4th of this overboard and fish below it.   I seems the scales slowly decending flash and glitter and will often turn them on.  It has worked well for us.  Do this about every 15 minutes.

Make sense. I've jigged for crappie with nothing more than a shiny hook, and caught them.
