Hunting guide on Bigfoot, The Patterson film, etc.......
« on: February 19, 2006, 08:12:10 AM »
Kieth Foster is a Colorado hunting guide turned BF investigator...His connections among LEOs, guides and outfitters has given him info and insight not available to most of us...He goes into detail on why The P/G film CANNOT be a man in a suit; ( 7'3, 900lbs & a stride longer then humanly possibly, etc,) and discusses sightings by miners and hunters in  the 1800's in a long but excellent thread over on the bowsite.....www.bowsite.com/BOWSITE/TF/REGIONAL/thread.cfm?threadid=91170&MESSAGES=132&state=Co...Here is an article in which he discusses 800 yr old indian traditions about BF in the Rockys...www.bigfootencounters.com/sbs/foster.htm

I love how someone who wasn't there and might not even have been born then can look at an old grainy film and tell with such precision the height and weight of a critter seen but briefly in the film and at such distance. The more folks try to convince me this one is genuine the more it convinces me it cannot possibily be. Yeah I've seen tons of stuff on how it can't be human and them folks got better eyes than me to see the stuff they claim.

First of all, I guess I had the Patterson stuff and the Wallace stuff mixed up in my feeble little mind, but none the less, there does seem to be some controversy with both films. Maybe Wallace had something to do with the Patterson deal, folks are claiming to have been in on a fraud, or are claiming to know those that were, and some have linked a famous costume maker, a John Chambers, with the Patterson deal.

Now about Native legends that go back hundreds of years...come on, those folks were not very knowledgeable about alot of things that mankind is knowledgeable about today. They did well with what they had, and what they knew, but there's superstitions, legends, and myth in those old tales.

Anyone still believe in the gods and goddesses of the ancient Greeks? Anyone still believe the Earth is flat....how about the sun traveling around the earth. How about the tales that were told to explain the unknown.....

I suppose, like I've said before, this deal is like religion, politics, and some other topics. Folks are going to believe what they want.
Hey, hold my beer and watch this.

John, actually the answer to part of that is apparently yes. We actually had 2-3 guys on here awhile back bragging about still believing in the greek gods or maybe it was some other group. They called themselves heathens and were proud of it. I think I kinda made them mad and they went away I guess.

Isn`t Montana where they filmed the movie (brokenback Mountian )?
That`s where the indian`s probably got their notion from, after seeing queer cowboys riding the range all day :)
