I went out to the deer lease to repair a feeder broken down by hogs. Got to the shack after dark Saturday, drank some beer and had to go outside to whiz. Since the stock tank is forty yards from the shack I took my 243 and a spotlight with me just in case some hogs were hitting the water. As soon as I got outside I could hear something digging around in the back of my truck. I shined the spotlight in the back and there was a huge coon tearing at the nylon 40 pound bags of corn I had brought to fill the feeder with. I guess he noticed the million candlepower spotlight on him and he jumped out and ran a ways then hid behind a bush that I could see thru. Well I let him have it with the 243. The 80 grain PSP did a number on him. My trip up before deer season I had 300 pounds of corn in paper sacks torn open in the back of my truck parked in the same place. Made for a real pain to get the corn into the feeder. Revenge!
