Thinking of having a huntsman barrel fitted to my handi, would like ya'lls opion on them. Are they easy to load and clean and how accurate are they. Any comments are welcomed. Thanks

dirtdobber47, I had a Huntsman barrel installed several years ago and I have been happy since. :lol: The Huntsman is accurate and easy to clean and will shoot almost every muzzleloader bullet style without many problems. The ram rod that comes with the barrel is not the greatest but when I'm on the range just practicing I use a range rod. When I am out hunting I start my bullet, without extending the rod and when the bullet is about 10 inchs down the barrel I extend the rod to seat the bullet. The primer carriers that you will get with the barrel will last for over 20 shots. I still have the orginals. I would order an extra pack. When you put in the breach plug remember, finger tighten with a good breach plug grease and you will have no problems and will be happy.
