I made this conversion to a Browning A-Bolt Micro Hunter and it is one of my most accurate rifles. 5 shots will stay between 3/8" and 1/2" consistantly. It cost me $60.00 to have it rechambered. I'm using Redding dies and they will let you size just about any version of the k-hornet that you may end up with. I'm using 13.3 grains of Hodgdon's Lil'Gun with Winchester brass, CCI BR-4 primers and the Hornady 35 grain V-Max bullet. Out of the 22 in. Browning barrel, it's chronoed at 3216 FPS. With your 26 in barrel, you may get another 100 out of it. I've never been sorry for doing this conversion. You do have to fire-form you'r brass but I used that as a good way to get rid of alot of 22 cal.
bullets that I wasn't using. Go for it, it's one of the best wildcats out there.
