PK,

Here is a pic with the yoke in it.

I went to the Annapolis boat show on Sat and bought some polishing gunk from a dealer and look what it did!

I don't know what the gunk is but it does a really great job.

I also met R. BERKELEY GEORGE of RBG cannons in Madison Ct. at the show.
He is at www.rbgcannons.com

He has some very attractive, and well finished guns.

The design of a couple pieces was odd (to me) but who can argue with his success.

It was a very informative discussion. The wife and I were there about an hour between his real customers.

I'll post those die pics in a couple days.

We finially got back to the swivel gun.

We did some work on a carriage over the last weekend.

Still need some square nuts and gingerbread but she's coming.

Dosen't everyone need one of these by the fireplace?

Cannons and cars have something in common.  There is an old saying in the hot rod business, "Speed costs money.  How fast do you want to go?"

Cannons are similar.  Size (and brass) cost money.  How big do you want to go?

Rompa room,

Somewhere on here is a list of suppliers that have links to catalogs.

Cannons ltd
Southbend Replicas
etc etc

Too many choices, not enough time,  money, or space.
