Encore 20ga Scope base Question

I just aquired a 20 rifle slug barrel for my Encore. When I check TC's site for a base I find a 12 ga base but no mention of a 20ga. Does the 12ga & 20ga use the same base? Is there a 20 ga base that I am missing? Any input would be appreciated.................Thanks

Tim,

I just bought a brand new Encore with the 20 ga slug barrel. I put a one-piece Weaver base on it and med. rings. You may want high, but I found with my scope (Bushnell 2x7 Elite) that I have enough room to cock the hammer OK.

As I believe Qtip implied but didn't come right out and say, the 20 guage slug barrel takes a standard Encore scope base. The 12ga. may take a special one due to barrel diameter. I just stuck a standard weaver base for an Encore on mine and clamped on a set of rings an scope.
