have a 6in  m44  that will key hole 2/3 bullet out of 6  i load cast 240/250grain   bullets   mostly 250keith  had a m44   with 83/8 in barrell  never had a problem with i traded because the 6in  fits be better  i load with  h110 andAA  n9 to near max    any help here  im lost  the bullets key hole at 25yards

I'm not much of a smith but that sounds like a cylinder alignment/lockup problem to me. Find a good gunsmith and have it checked. Or send it back to Taurus. Those bullet weights should be just fine.   KN
