Need Advice on a four wheeler

I am in the market for a 4x4 four wheeler.  It will be used for hunting, trail riding with my kids, and plowing snow.  

What would you recommend for minimum cc?   250, 400?

Any brands I should avoid?

This last spring I bought a Arctic Cat 400 4x4 Automatic LE.  I got the Speedrack system with mine and it's well worth looking into.  My son in-law bought a Polaris 800 Twin EFI and that thing is a monster.  Scary powerful.  Unless you have a need, farming/ranching, for that kind of power then look into something in the 350 - 400 class.  It will have all the power you ever need.  Lawdog

I have a Yamaha 350 Bruin 4x2. Really thought hard about 4x4 but decided to take the $69 winch instead. Now practically all of my use of it is right here on my land and even with my breathing problem I can walk back to the house if I have to. The winch should get me out of any thing I get into but it won't get itself out of. It's been stuck twice so far. Once I got it high centered on a stump in the swamp and the other time I buried it in mud when the state was working on my drive. I pushed it off the stump and the state used a dozer to pull me out the other time.

It has all the power I'll ever need and I do a LOT of hauling with it. That's my main reason for having it is to pull my 17 cu. ft. trailer. I've had it loaded with well over a ton of dirt and gravel and it pulls the loads just fine.

Love that auto tranny.
