New models, calibers or other firearm offerings for 1996?
« on: September 20, 2005, 03:50:27 PM »
Anybody aware of any new models or calibers for next year?  Like a.35 Whelen by more manufacturers?  More Mannlicher models available from more manufacturers or so on?  Now that Remington stopped the Classic we need some other people to step up.  Like maybe a 338-06.  Any thoughts?     Buckfever

Thank you.  I must have been dreaming, cause I woke up this morning thinking it was 2005.  I must have had a bad dream.  I would sure hate to be 10 years older.

Don't try to tell me that fellows not into denial.

I understand that Rem has some mannlicher stocked rifles coming out of the custom shop that are 'posed to be pretty snazzy.  Laminated wood on the stocks.  @$1300 each I'm told.  7-08 with a nice 1.5x5 scope.  mmmmm get the checkbook mama.

1996--just woke up to the nightmare of the Clintons again

How that scumbag got re-elected is beyond me.

And the Remingtons are just as bad now as they were in 96----keep looking elsewhere.

I do have a soft spot for the 870---but building an accurate rifle is a lot different than making a shotgun.

Omaha......if you use words like Clinton again I will try to have you banned from the board.  You can say alot of things, just not that one.   2005.......my mind says I still can, my body says "NO WAY".
