Knifemaking Hammer-in

I'll be hosting a Hammer-In at my Place in Milford, IL on Saturday September 24th. It is open to the public. I am hoping to have several knife makers there giving demonstrations. We knifemakers use hammer-ins as way of passing around information and and getting some hands on learning.  Anyone interested please let me know.

Finally got my kids going to school, now I can get back to planning this get- together.  This event isn't just for makers that forge blades or even for makers in general.  Any Maker, Collector, Enthusiast, Newbie is welcome, it's all about getting together and sharing knowledge and resources and desire to shape steel!!  If you've never made a knife show up and ask a lot of questions, we don't bite (at least not all of us  :wink:  ).  If you've made a bunch of knives come and show off your stuff!!

Talked to a few guys at the Chicago Show, sounds like this thing has got some real potential.  I've got some very talented makers lined up. to be there :grin:
