First shots, the new 45-70 barrel

Hi all,
finally got to shoot my new 45-70 barrel, what a great cartridge :grin:  I think I have the big hole addiction coming on here. While the loads I shot were mild, reloading manual 1850fps 300gr hornady,
 I found the rifle very comfortable to shoot recoil wise  and early results I think it is going to be an accurate gun,no extraction problems . will begin do a proper testing next trip to the range, what I am very surprised is the exceptionally clean barrel, only a few powder spots.Will of course give a full range report on completion of testing after the next trip, looking forward to it,
