The problem with integral scope mounting systems is you the buyers.
I have a CZ-Brno model 601 it has integral scope mounts which also return to zero, not sure if the new 550 still has this feature? also BSA used to make their rifles with integral acope mounting machined onto their recievers but dropped it the American buyers wanted to choose their own mounts :? so they switched design and machined the action to take the same mounts as the Rem 700, a very backward step if you ask me.
Out of preference on scope mounts for rifles which are like the new ones and only D+T, I use Apel mounts either the Roll off or the EAWswing mounts they also return to zero and have some windage adjustment in them so reticles can be kept centered, I have some old reticle moving scopes :wink:
