I am wondering if anyone has a Benelli R1. If so, what are your thoughts about them? I've got this wild idea to sell some rifles to get one of these. I am wondering if it would be worth it?

257Robt,
I like the way the Benelli R1 handles, but now for the sad part. Two years ago a shooting friend bought one. It was not as accurate as one would hope, but worse yet, it would shoot loose at the barrel to action fastener. This was a design flaw, and tightening this fastener to preclude this unwanted loosening resulted in very poor groups. So, buyer beware.

I think they're ugly.
