I will be ordering a Stevens 200 in 223 next week. They sound real good from everything that I have read here.
With a rate of twist of 9 1/2 which is rather fast for a heaver bullet; what grain bullet works best for you in your Stevens?
Are the triggers adjustable?

That .223 should be a 1 in 9" twist. I have one and its a shooter. The trigger is adjustable, but I had my buddy put in a sharp shooter trigger ( my preference is all) I am going to be working on some heaver bullets, but it dose get .3 to .5 moa off the bench rest with 55 gr v-max with IMR 3031 powder. I am considering a .223. What will be the effect of this 1-9.5 twist instead of the 1-9 of your rifle? Slightly slower twists in a .223 means what?

My mistake; I meant a 1 in 9 twist. The faster the twist the better it stabilizes a heavy bullet.
