I have had 2 of these Taurus 45's in the past and had problems with the poly frame cracking. Got rid of the last one in 2003 after Taurus replaced it. Has this problem been fixed by Taurus or still ongoing??
I am considering many handguns to buy, one for CCW and would consider another PT145, if frame cracking is an issue of the past, and doesn't happen now.
Both of my PT145's had cracked frames before 1K rounds.
Also, as I recall, Taurus said, in the manual, they were for 225gr bullets?? Only ones I know that are 225gr are cast??
