« on: April 02, 2005, 03:06:03 PM »
Just thought you fellows might like to know that Davidson's (well-known distributor) has joined with Winchester to introduce a limited edition of an historical rifle, the Model 1895 Take Down Rifle.  The quantity will be 1,001 rifles.  The MSRP is $1,474.95, but likely someone will be selling them on the Internet for less.

Features include:
• 24" Round Barrel  • Blued Finish
• Satin-Finished, Checkered Walnut Straight Grip Stock
• Schnabel Fore-End • Cowboy Buckhorn Sights
• Serial Numbers of 0000 thru 1000
• Special Box Sleeve and Letter of Authenticity

Davidson's is now taking reservations from their dealers.

I saw that Davidsons was having a run of these made, did not know that they havent been produced yet. I live in SC, if anyone knows of a SC dealer that will be  able to get one of these- davidsons has them allocated-please let me know, I would sure like one.
