Yes, Lawdog, I agree. That is why I'll not go below a standard barrel on any rifle I own. I can't begin to tell you how frustrating it was. I had the rifle sighted in, here in GA. When we arrived in Colorado on our hunt, we went by the range right quick just to confirm our zero's. I couldn't get the dang thing to group and you can imagine my frustration as we had traveled about 18 hours in a car to do this. :evil:
Needless to say, when we got home, it was sold!!! However, I was able to nail a mule deer with my S&W 629 classic with my own hard cast keith style SWC's and reloads. At least that was satisfying.
No more "buggy whip" barrels for me.
