We better be able to drive, this old fat boy isn't up to much walking. Still haven't resolved the shortness of breath issue and doubt it will be much improved by June.

I plan to have some type of shooting bench. Not sure just what yet. Will bring a pile of sand bags to use on the bench.

Gotta have some method of staying out of the sun. This is a concern to me. Even an hour or two in the sun and I'm seriously cooked. I do not tan I burn.

Best make sure you have proper cleaning gear to clean those barrels if we're getting lots of shooting. I'll have my Clifton gun vise and rods/jags and patches plus solvents for the guns I'm bringing. Will need something to hold those patches after use too. Don't want to be littering the areas.

We'll likely need binoculars and maybe spotting scopes for spotting the dogs to shoot them and a rangefinder would be good I suspect.

We will be able to drive to the spots.

You can bring a small portable bench if you want.  Or you can shoot off of a bipod or shooting sticks.  It's all up to you.

Spotting scope, bino's and range finders do come in real handy.  I've got all three, and will most likely have them out there.

"Patch Catcher"

I like an empty wide-mouth plastic pop or gatorade bottle with a hole or "X" cut into the cap.  Put the cap back on the bottle and slip it over the muzzle before starting the cleaning.

If you're using a pierce-type jag, the patch flies off the end of the jag at the muzzle when you pull the rod back through.

Simple, cheap, neat.
