So who's staying where or camping?
« on: January 19, 2005, 01:10:41 PM »
or is it too early for you guys to make such decisions?

Have you at least decided on motel or camping?

For those who will be staying in motel wouldn't it be good if everyone was at same place? Maybe not but for such events I've attended in the past we've usually tried to all be at same place as much as possible.

From what I've gathered from Wes the Cole Inn (info below) is about the closest to the place he has set up for us to have the nightly gatherings. Me thinks that's likely where I will stay unless everyone wants to go elsewhere and convinces me otherwise.

So what say you?

Sounds good to me see if it can happen. :D I don't think I have seen any thing take hold and go as fast as this P.D. shoot. :-)

That one sounds good to me. I wonder how soon a guy should call for reservations?
shot placement is everything.

June 3-6 is a little early for the custom harversters to be tying up hotel rooms, but if everyone wants to stay there, I can set it up as early as you want.

Let me know if everyone is going to stay at the Cole and I'll talk to them myself.

Sounds good to me. I plan on arriving late on the 4th and will stay till Monday. Is there a pool there for the family to play in while we shoot?

Ed, I'm sorry, but as far as I know....there's not a pool at the motel.  But,  Hooker does have a really nice public pool with slides etc.  I don't know what time of the year it opens though.

Most of the public pools open as soon as school is out. Although not for me, they seem to be the cheapest day care available around here, if ya know what I mean.

Well, Hooker has one of the nicest pools around this area.  One of the better off farmers donated a pile of cash in his daughters name to have it rebuilt about three years ago.  I think you're family will like it.

Steve, I didn't forget about you.

I got in touch with South Wind RV Camp here in Guymon.  Depending on what Amps you are wanting, the rates are:

30AMP- $21.00 per day or $75.00 per week (If you're staying more than three days they'll charge the weekly rate so you get a better daily rate.

50AMP- $24.00 per day or $80.00 per week.

I've already got you set up to stay there, arriving the evening of the 2nd, and leaving the evening of the 6th.

Can you let me know what amps you're wanting to use?

also, anyone else planning on staying in an RV?

So, I only have two RV's coming (one 50AMP and one 30AMP)?

Let me know so I can let the RV place know you're coming.

One other thing......

How long are your RV's?
