BP barrel Safe on frame????
« on: February 15, 2005, 03:22:21 AM »
I have a H&R 410 with a serial number that begins with "AT".  Would a blackpowder barrel be safe on this frame?

I may be wrong but I think a BP barrel would be safe on any frame. Of course you will have to fit it yourself....<><....

I  am with MSP Ret, I think you can have a muzzle loader barrel installed but the best and fastest way to determine is call customer service at 978-630-8220  they will let you know. :D

I think the AT frame may be to early for them to fit a barrel to. That is why I suggested he may have to buy a barrel (used) and install/fit it himself. I could of course be wrong, I have been before....<><....

as usual....you are correct sir, they will only fit barrels to receivers starting with N and H.

Is the N or H requirement a company liability thing or did the frame change?
