Should be fine Trapper. Just need to use high rings so that the hammer clears. I have the high Leupold from Wal-Mart on both my Handi's. I think Wal-Mart also has the same scope for the same $. May be a different model, but I think the same.

I've got one and put it on my .223 handi.  I used extra high rings, got them from Natchez shooting supply.  Now I have it on my .243 Handi, too much scope for a .223 in my openion.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

I used the Leupold high rings on mine, got them from Wallyworld.  Keep in mind that all "high" rings don't have the same "high".  You are probably going to have to find the extra high ones for a 50 mm objective lens.

Yeah..Millet is bad about their sizes...I like Millet rings but ya gotta remember they run short...ie: Tall is really medium!!! extra tall is really tall...medium is really short... :x  I forget sometimes and it really makes me mad!
