The recent posts about the Buffalo Classic are great! In these posts there was some discussion of the 3 period style scopes available. It would be just the thing to scope a Buff...affordably...period style.
In Sept I posted with a question about the Dixie brass scope in the muzzleloader forum. King and zrifleman responded. When these gentlemen speak, I'll listen. Seems the problem with that particular setup seems to be the supplied brass mounts. The report was that they don't hold zero. Zrifleman used different mounts and liked his setup on a Shilo Sharps however. Other than not nitro filled the scope itself must be ok, just gotta use different mounts.
Anyone else have any experience with the Dixie Scope?
