PT132 - Too Good To Be True?
« on: January 12, 2005, 05:50:08 AM »
On paper at least,  this Millenium pistol seems perfect for my needs.  It's about the size of the Kahr "K" series,  an ounce lighter than a G19, a tenth of an inch narrower than the CZs, has a manual safety, holds 10+1 rounds and can be purchsed for about $300.00.  I tried shooting a Sig 232 but the slide cut my hand.  I'm told the PPK and PPK clones will do likewise to large hands.  The CZ 83 would be my first choice if it just were'nt so big.

I would carry this gun in warm weather and use my trusty but larger CZ PCR for colder weather.  I like the .32acp round because it is easy on my arthritis.  But...  I have a friend who works in a gun store.  He won't even let a Taurus inside the door.  I've heard others speak disparagingly about Taurus models as well.  How much of that is to be believed?

I had the PT145 Millinium and shot it a lot. Never had a minutes trouble out of it. Traded it to get a 1911 style .45. I now own a PT-140 and like it a lot. Have not shot it as much as the .45 but have had zero malfunctions of any kind to this point. Would buy another.

I want one of the new pt745's. that is the compact version of the 45. I have the pt111 and the pt140 pro. Love them both. But not as good as my p345 ruger.
