Winchester 94 info needed please

Can someone please tell me what year that Winchester upgraded the cartridge lifter from earlier stampted steel ones  in their post 64 model 94 ? The one on  my 1971 vintage 94 sure doesnt appear to be stamped, but i'm uncertain of what this lifter is made of.  Dull, gray appearance ( cast ? )  Thanks for your opinions.

The sheet steel cartridge carrier was used from the mid to late '60s then production of solid steel carriers was started prior to your gun being made. My '57 vintage M 94 has a carrier that looks to be cast iron.
