Savage 12BVSS in .243
« on: January 11, 2005, 06:03:32 AM »
After getting my new Savage BVSS in .243 on paper, there was just enough time to fire 1 three shot group before it began pouring rain here in VA on Saturday.  I was impressed!

The three shot string made a clover shaped hole measuring 3-4/10".  I was using 87gr Hornady Vmax in front of 39gr of IMR4350, Win Brass and CCI 200 primers.

The accu trigger on this rifle is really nice...  :)

I've since polished the bore with JP's and plan on breaking in this rifle properly the next nice day.
