Surefire makes a silencer now!

I just got a mailing from Surefire (the bright light people) in which they announce their entry into the 'sound suppression' market! The show a photograph of their silencer, GLOWING RED HOT, after about 2500 rounds of full-auto fire! They say they wore out 2 barrels without significantly wearing the silencer!

They sure are an up-and-coming force in the market!  I have two of their lights I use on duty, they will turn a drunk's pupils to pinpoints in a hearbeat!  Great stuff, if you can afford it.  
I don't have a lot of Use for a silencer, but it sure would be fun to shoot a silenced 22!  What kind of a gun did they show it on?

BTW, I was watching "Magnum Force" with Clint Eastwood the other day, and had to laugh when they showed a cop jamming a silencer on his 357 Python!  Those Hollywood folks sure have no respect for reality!

i used the surefire on a 223 colt m-4 quite effective
