I know this may be an odd question, but I wanted to “Tap” the experience here before I start drilling holes, if it is a stupid question (OK to say so).

Just finished making my reloading bench, it is 60”x 30”, 2” thick laminated top.  Before I start drilling holes to bolt down the press, trimmer, etc.  Would anyone like to suggest a good layout for the items that need to be bolted down?  I am right-handed and the bench will sit in the middle of a spare room in the basement.  So I will have access all the way around with my stool.  Thanks, Mike.

Mike,Heres what I did with my trimmer.Its bolted to a bread board and I put rubber pads/legs on the bottom. It doesn't slide around and I'm able to move it out of the way or off the desk if I want more room for other apparati. I'm not sure how it'd work if you'r handcranking the trimmer. I located the press on the end of the desk,so I'd have room to sit for case prep etc.
