Clarify this for me guys????

When Winchester says it has a full length extractor on some models, is this the thing that all Rugers have visible on the right side of the bolt?  I was at a gun show today, and I noticed that some Winchesters had this, and the rest of them had what looked like a regular round bolt.  I know this is a stupid question, but ...........

That's not a stupid question, because Winchester has muddied the water by producing several different types of bolt actions.  They have push feed, controlled round feed, and controlled round push feed.  Each one has a different extractor design, so they'll all look a little different.

The model 70 Classic rifles have the same type of extractor that Ruger 77 rifles have.

Win's website should explain them all.    Do a 'search' for Winchester Rifles and it'll get you there.
