Puppies are killing each other
« on: December 12, 2004, 12:40:15 PM »
I have two 7 week old lab collie mix puppies, both male. The problem they are biting and growling at each other all the time. Has anyone else experinced this and will it go away?

It will go away, provided you provide them with enough space.

Yes right now they are in a 10x10 pen till spring, but they are even doing it when let loose in the yard. Thanks for the reply I was getting worried that I shouldnt have got two, for their own health. But when they sleep they are cuddled up so maybe there is hope.

sounds like they are working on the pecking order.   one way to fix it is for you to be the boss.  but they will still work out their own order.  it is my experience that litter mates usually dont get along well.
