About three years ago, I was tracking polar fox in the north of Iceland. After a considerable walk I come upon an empty layer with tracks of up to 8 adult animals. Now I think to myself "there can't be 8 adult foxes living in close quarters....that just doesn't happen.
I'm in a big valley, trackin the group down. I come over a ridge and see all 8 foxes herding sheep back and forth, working together as a team to select the one they wanted to kill.
I've never seen this activity with foxes, all hunters and nature specialists tell me foxes don't hunt in packs!!
