« on: February 06, 2005, 12:27:26 PM »
I am (was)  seriously considering a Tikka .223 T3 stainless lite but I hate the cheesy scope rings that come with the gun,Since it is drilled and tapped for other mounts who makes these?I was on the Beretta web sight and there accessories are incredibly overpriced ,optiloc scoperings $79 optiloc bases $84, spare flush .223 mags $112 what the hell are they smokin $112 for a 3 rd.plastic mag OMFG they sure are not helping sell these rifles with accessary prices like these,Oh well rant over but if someone could steer me toward some decent mounts for a tikka rifle I would appreciate it .

Here are some mounts and rings. I have been told the Talley lightweights are hard to beat. I'm using the factory rings on my T-3 now but if they fail me I will order a set for myself.

I too am using the factory supplied rings, and I see no problem with them.  In fact I find them hard to beat.

weaver bases (61?) and burris Z rings, are just the ticket.  as for the mag if you dont loose it you wont need another because it will not break.
Let the heavens decide.
