What would you like to see Remington chamber their 2005 Classic edition rifle in?  I also posted this in the Remington forum.
I would like to see a: .22Hornet, .218 Bee, .358Win, or 416Rem.Mag :-)
.35 CALIBER MAN

Maybe the old 32 brought back from the dead.   I hope it's something that hasn't been around for a while.

Hornet would be good if Ruger didn't flood the market with those for the last 10 years, but I doubt they will come out with a varmint caliber in the Classic.

I suppose hardly anybody buys them to use.  I figure those Classics are made with the Collector in mind.

How about a 30 Remington or a 7.62x39.

I wonder if they could modify the 700 to work with rimmed cartridges.  If so then what could possibly be more classic than the .30-30 Win :).  That would then also open up the possibility for them to do .303 Brit, .30-40 Krag, and .45-70 Gov't.

They already make all three of my favorites, Those being, in order of favorites, 8x57 mauser, 6.5x55 mauser and the .280 Remington. I dont care much for maagnums but i think that the new 2005 could be the 6.5 Remington Mgnum.
