need a load for this in a 22 inch barell,tried h4895,not good,would varget work,or what would be another powder,i heard imr3031 would work?do you need a fast burning powder with a light bullet,what about a heavy bullet?

I have a good load for the 70 grain and 100 grain pellets using IMR 4064 and IMR 4350 respectively. Let me know if you're interested in these loads.

Out of the Load All One Calibre/One Book for 243 Win:

60gr Sierra
Accuracy Load IMR 4064/39.1gr @ 3500fps/1632 ft.lbs
range on powder is 37.9-41.6gr

Hunting Load H380/43.8 @ 3700fps/1824 ft.lbs
range on powder is 40.8-45.4gr

In Sierra 5th Reloading manual it shows:Accuracy Load: Benchmark 37.6gr@3400fps/1540ft.lbs
Hunting Load: Varget 43.0gr@3600fps/1726ft.lbs

I have been shooting accuracy loads for Sierra 80gr BTSP/Blitz and 100gr BTSP Game King out of this book n my Tikka with great results. Good Luck

tried varget today,38.0,38.5,39.0 best group 1 1/2. i got some different powder coming 2015,2495,reloader 7 ill see if i can get it to group with these.
