.243 howa question?

today was high 70 low 80,wind not exactly straight into me,little left to right,cleaned bor real good,shot 1,cleaned,shot 1 cleaned,then shot at target,took 4 shots for it to group,aiming at the bullseye,1st, shot 1 1/4 low 1 inch to right. 2nd,1 inch to right 1/2 inch high. 3rd, 1 inch right,dead on. 4th, dead on 1/2 inch high. 5th, 1 inch high 1 inch right.  4 exactly 1 inch right,then the 4th dead on and 1/2 inch high. i waited 1 to 2 minutes between shots.ive shot this same load and it grouped .435 3 shots. load is cci 200,winchester brass,h4895,65 vmax.

i was just wondering about how they were all lined up verticaly except for one of them, never happened to me.thats all!

Sounds like all shots were from a just cleaned barrel. It is unrealistic to expect much of a group that way. If you have a rifle that puts the first couple shots from a just cleaned barrel in the group you got one super fine rifle. Most in my experience don't. Still some do.

besides that first shot of the last 5 it still grouped 1 inch.good enough for me!
