Bore guide

Check with Sinclairintl.com......they make bore guides that are action bolt size specific and cartridge body size specific........the guide has a O ring that seals the chamber and keeps solvent from running out of the bore and into the stock/trigger area......the solvent port is a nice extra if you like to really flush/wet the patchs.......they carry almost any combo in stock and the Howa shouldn't be a problem...the guides are very popular with a lot of shooters without going to the full custom deluxe versions.....and my five have worked well in the centerfire and rimfire versions.....good luck and good shooting...with a clean bore!!

Bigdaddy gave you some good advice. I ordered one for my Tikka and really like it. The guide fits PERFECTLY and the "O" ring seals well. I also ordered the solvent port which I always use.

Give Sinclair a call, you'll be happy that you did.

Give Stoney Point a call. I had to buy metric bushings to fit my Sako actions. They were not expensive and are easily interchangeable with the standard bore guide.
