Anschutz 222 accuracy

Howdy,
Lookin' for some feedback again.
A friend of mine just acquired an Anschutz 1740 Heavy Barrel in 222. The test target has a .75" 3 shot group. He hopes reloading will improve the groups to dime size if possible. On his behalf I am asking any other 222 Anschutz shooters who might see this re their success and satisfaction with this model. If he doesn't get better groups he is going to sell it. Thanks for taking time to reply.

Well I don't have an Anschutz or a 222 for that  matter. But in regard to the .75" test target , should be able to achieve much better accuracy with reloading. The test target should not represent the best possible accuracy by any means.
