sierra -single shot pistol bullets
« on: January 22, 2003, 05:51:54 AM »
Has anybody used these (135gr) in a 30-30 for coyote? Yes I know there
pointed and would only use 2, one in chamber and one in mag. Was thinking they would be perfect in short barreled carbine (16") length for
a walk around Yote buster. Better in 1-10 marlin of 1-12 winchester?
any load data would be appreciated.

hey junglework, i have been useing the 130 grn hornady in my 30-30,s for about a year and they work great. very accurate and good expansion even on smaller varmits. the pistol bullets should work as well or better for varmits  i would think! HAPPY HUNTING!
