I just got a synthetic stock and 4-16 Redfield scope (44mm) for my old deer rifle. I am looking at Leupold mounts and need some opinions. Dove-tail or standard? Low or Medium rings?

I like the dual dovetail rings and if you contact Brownell's tech support they can tell you which height rings you need.
