Serial number?
« on: September 01, 2004, 03:30:16 PM »
I shiped my son's youth back to NEF today.  They told me through email that it would be covered by the warranty if the serial started with a H or R.  I had a  service rep. tell me that if it started with a H or S it would be covered.  Mine starts with a NSxxxxxx. Does anyone know which it is?  Thanks, oktx.

oktx,

That's a NEF made in 2002.  They can tell by the serial number who it was sold through and if it's a Pardner receiver or SB-2 receiver.  My "NT" receiver was bought this past January, but it was made in 2003.

Yes!!!, Their warranty goes for 1 year (++) from the date you bought it and they are very good about it. That is a great thing about these guns, their warranty. Any problems just tell tell them when you bought it and they should make the necessary arrangements to cover any needed repairs or adjustments.....<><....
