Okay its been a while since I reloaded 12 gauge shells.A friend is wanting to start loading for his 12 gauge.I was showing him my setup on my bench and looking at charge bar he asked how much powder it dumped.Well I can't remember I have used this setup for years.I was going to weigh a charge then I can't remember if powder is measured in volume ,weight,grams or what.Well what is it guys?thanks

Well your loader measures it by volume. BUT it is set to the correct volume based on the number of grains of powder needed. So you can weight your charge in grains on a scale and know what you are dispensing. Of if you are using a loader with removable inserts just see which you have and see what that should throw and be sure it is a safe book load.

But he should pull ALL his loads from a loading manual regardless.
